‘My experience as a scholar of the ICMT in Eygalières was one which I am certain will remain with me for the rest of my life. The opportunity to work in great depth with Imogen Cooper was invaluable. Many aspects of our work were truly revelatory. The idyllic location and the hospitality of our hosts were ideal in offering the space to explore my relationship with music and with the piano in new-found depth. Imogen’s understanding and support were so encouraging, and the time spent with the other scholar Aidan Mikdad was an inspiration. I am sincerely indebted to the extraordinary generosity of the Trust and of Imogen herself – long may it continue!’
